"A Whiter Shade Of Pale" - Procol Harum

Se alguma banda de rock progressivo me cativou e atraiu mais na juventude, sem dúvida que os "Procol Harum" ganharam lugar de destaque. Foram inúmeros os discos de Vinil que tive desta banda, dos quais destaco "Salty Dog" de 1969 e o fantástico "Grand Hotel" de 1973 com temas brilhantemente executados pela banda.

Também bizarro o nome da banda, inspirado no nome de um gato de um amigo do empresário da banda e que em Latim significa algo como "Através destas coisas".

Claro que o tema mais conhecido desta banda é "A Whiter Shade Of Pale", que estreou ao vivo na abertura de um concerto de Jimi Hendrix em 1967, e os levou aos primeiros lugares dos tops em todo mundo. É esse mesmo tema, que me traz tão boas recordações, que resolvi recordar e incluir aqui no Blogue. Espero que gostem.
